Qloud- Stream Audio & Video Over Wifi

Hello guys, this is The Mysterious guy back with another video for you.
Lately I've been doing alot of videos about some android apps I came across.

                      So, Qloud is an app with which you can even stream HD videos over Wifi from your PC or any kind of other networking server. It is  available in the play store. You also need to install a server client on the pc which seems fairly logical. The process is simple. You can even define what folders you want to share over wifi & with whom you wanna share all that. I won't go into much detail since my Wifi password is strong & I haven't given it to any of my neighbours.
                     My experience with the app was positive & I watched 1080p HD videos on my cell for 8 hours straight without a glitch. Some of the apps I've used before which provide the same functions tend to drop connection after some time or the bandwidth starts to degrade. And then you have to restart the app to get everything working again. This didn't happen  in case of Qloud. Well, It uses quite an amount of CPU power from the computer though for real time encoding. This will also work fine on a pc with a dual core. No big deal. Also, if you quit while watching a video, it will remember where you stopped & next time it will give you the option to resume from where you started. Thats a good feature that I liked. Some of the highly used apps lack this feature.

                     I didn't test Audio streaming for a long time but according to my experience with the video, streaming audio should be very smooth. The music player has a simple GUI. Nothing Fancy.
                     So I highly recommend this app for people who are looking for Audio/Video streaming apps.

Splashtop GamePad Review

This is The Mysterious Guy with Another Blog for you ;-)

                   So today I Installed Splashtop GamePad on my Smartphone. I know its made to work only on Tablets powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processors, but I still managed to get it work & it worked fairly well  on my Single Core WVGA Smartphone Xperia Neo V.

                   It is a fairly good software inspired by the Nvidia Shield Prototype. It basically allows you to play all your PC games from your Tablet provided that you have a strong PC. They recommend a dual core CPU & a Geforce Card. But according to my Experience, If you wish to play games like Skyrim, Far Cry 3 at Ultra Presets & at 1080p HD Resolution, you are gonna need more CPU power. Confused ? Let me clarify.
                    In this case, the Graphic Card won't be the one limiting the performance. As long as you are getting 40+ FPS with your Graphic Card when playing on Monitor, adding more GPU power won't improve your Performance while playing on GamePad.
                    For people who don't know what this does, it basically uses your PC to perform the processing tasks in the game & it just streams the video footage to the remote device. So the CPU would be performing the game processes + would be rendering the footage in real time. Even a Quad Core won't be enough if you wish to get a smooth  gameplay. I played many games on it & in all games my 560Ti was 70-80% & my CPU (Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.8) was constantly on 98-99% which it barely reaches when playing physically.
                     I tested the game on wifi & couldn't test it on mobile networks. I guess you will get the best experience when you play on wifi. Mobile networks will make it even more slower. Also, you will atleast need a Oct-Threaded CPU to have a smooth framerate & fair rate of compression. You will also need a Good Router. I have a cheap router which hardly ever drops wifi & this app caused it to freeze after an hour. so as long as you have a router oriented at such tasks, you should be fine.
                     If you have the right processing power & a Tablet with a HD Display, you will enjoy playing on it. I really love the Idea of playing on a device which Isn't doing the processing at all. Even if you play for hours, the Tablet will still stay cool & have a fair amount of battery backup (as its CPU isn't being used 100%). So I loved the Idea, loved the app, but I would like to see more fixes in this app in future.
